Expeditions often provide life changing experiences for school pupils who are lucky enough to travel, but it is heart warming to see a new relationship and local benefit that will endure long after the memories of the expedition have faded.
During summer 2015, Framlingham College visited Uganda, and met young Lubega who has learning difficulties but could not afford to attend a specialist school. Upon return it was decided to sponsor him going forward. Year 6 students at the prep school Brandeston Hall took up a challenge to raise £100 a year for the rest of his education. They were lent £5 to start, and using their own entrepreneurial skills they raised £1,389!
