Amalie is a member of our presentation team, with a passion for travel and adventure, plus a knack for getting people excited about our expeditions. She spent last year travelling across Asia and Oceania, writing a travel blog along the way, stopping off at some of our most popular destinations including India, Nepal, Vietnam and Borneo. Her favourite things about travelling are the people, the food, and the scenery, but she is also fascinated by the history and culture of our many destinations.
Having volunteered in the UK and overseas, Amalie is passionate about the community aspects of our expeditions, particularly our Pukka Projects which contribute to the welfare of the people and animals involved in our expeditions, preserving that which makes our world great.
When not presenting to one of our schools, she enjoys writing, singing and drama, as well as an array of sports and outdoor pursuits including netball, cycling and rock climbing, both in the UK and overseas!
